• WHEN TO USE URGENT CARE

    This is a Heading

Emergencies that are life-threatening, like a serious injury to the head or a heart attack, will require you to visit the

emergency room or department at hospitals. Centers for urgent care are primarily set up to assist the patients

with injury or illness that might not be life threatening but can no longer wait for their primary care physician to check

     them.

During those hours and days when primary care doctors are not available, an urgent care center can provide

patients with easy access to a quality and almost instant healthcare. Apollo Urgent Care gives our full commitment

and utmost attention to detail for the satisfaction and care of all our patients to make sure that their urgent medical

needs will be looked into right away.

Urgent care is different from emergency care and the following urgent medical conditions are the ones that are

not regarded as emergencies but will need care in the span of 24 hours:

        • Strains and sprains
        • Falls and accidents
        • Moderate problems on the back
        • Cuts or bleeding that might require stitches
        • Minor burns
        • Breathing difficulties such as moderate or mild asthma
        • Eye redness and irritation
        • Vaccinations
        • Hydration therapy and IV
        • Nausea
        • Diagnostic services such as laboratory tests and X-rays
        • Headaches
        • Flu or fever
        • Diarrhea, dehydration or vomiting
        • Severe cough or sore throat
        • Minor fractures or broken bones
        • Skin infections and rashes
        • Urinary tract infections

These conditions and cases are the ones that require urgent care. But for those medical issues that appear life

threatening, it is best to dial 9-1-1 right away.

You can get proper care from the nearest emergency room in your area. Take note that the visits to the ER must

only be set for those true emergencies, like severe injuries and chest pain. Seemingly minor illnesses and small

injuries can already be dealt with and examined by our expert urgent care professionals. If our team sees that

greater care is required for your case, they will immediately direct the patients to the right healthcare

provider and if the condition is a true emergency, Apollo Urgent Care’s staff will directly transfer the patients

to the emergency room of our partner hospital to ensure that they will get further treatment.

For urgent care cases, we at Apollo Urgent Care are here to help you get the finest and highest quality of care that

you deserve just when you need it the most.

If you think you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 9-1-1 immediately.
